This model, in production for eight years, was by far the most popular variant of the Citation 650 series.


In all, 119 Citation VII aircraft were built. Equipped with more powerful engines and a re-designed cabin to reduce ambient noise, the VII is able to fly faster and farther in a much more comfortable environment.


The Citation series jets have been the subject of jokes over the years, referring to their airspeeds, but with an advertised, maximum cruising speed of 552 miles per hour, the Citation VII cruises faster than the speedy, Learjet 45 or 60 models.
