Image One year later, the Model 55C was revealed, fitted with rear under fuselage 'Delta Fins' giving improved directional stability at all speeds and reducing the landing speed, and thus removed the need for a stick puller/pusher.

Later versions are the 55C/ER extended-range version fitted with an extra tank holding 1175kg of fuel in the tail cone.

The Model 55C/LR giving even-longer-range through the installation of a further 322-litre fuel cell behind the standard fuselage tank.

Typical configuration of this version is two crew and seven passengers. Around 150 Model 55 variants had been built by the end of 1990 and the version is to be superseded by the Learjet 60 during 1992.

Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada 305A engines, it has a range (with 4 passengers and 2 crew) of 2,405 nautical miles (4,454 km) with NBAA 100 nmi (190 km) reserves, ISA.

In July 2012 Bombardier Aerospace announced a temporary "production pause" of the latest variant Learjet 60XR to begin in the fourth quarter of 2012.

The Learjet 60 is an improved version of the Learjet 55, with a longer fuselage and more powerful turbofan engines. It first flew on 10 October 1990 and received FAA certification in January 1993.

The modifications that converted the Learjet Model 55 into a Model 60 resulted from an aerodynamics improvement program and a need to increase the capacity of the Learjet product line.

The Hawker 800 comprises both six- and eight-passenger configured aircraft. Both configurations have a full refreshment center and stand-up headroom along the entire cabin length.

Within the Hawker 800 series, there is also the improved models of the Hawker 800XP and the Hawker 850XP.

In December 2006, Raytheon announced the sale of Raytheon Aircraft to GS Capital Partners. The new company is called Hawker Beechcraft Inc and the sale was completed in March 2007.

The Hawker 800XP business jet is derived from the design of the UK-built de Havilland / Hawker Siddely and British Aerospace 125, first built in 1962.

This evolved into the Series 400 to 800 produced up to the early 1990s. Raytheon purchased the Series 800 program in 1993 and the aircraft took the name Hawker 800.

While sitting in the cabin of the 850XP, one will immediately notice the amazing lighting effects in addition to the table and window shade animations.

What most impressive about the interior of this aircraft was that despite the high quality features, FSX performance wasn’t affected.

Other aspects of the exterior that have been improved include an upgrade exterior lighting effect that is much brighter than in previous releases.

Previous owner Raytheon had made improvements in all three areas. On a "standard day", the Hawker could hold its own against its mid-size competitors.

The 900XP is the result of replacing the 850XP's TFE731-5BR engines with TFE731-50Rs. Both the -5BR and the newer -50R are rated at 4,660lb of thrust, but the -50R has a thermodynamic limit of 5,000lb, while the -5BR's is 4,660lb.

The increased temperature margin offered by the -50R allows it to maintain rated thrust as conditions degrade from standard.

At 5,000ft pressure altitude and ISA +20oC conditions, the -50R's 3,970lb of thrust is a 4.5% improvement over the 5BR's 3,800lb.

In addition to higher thrust, the -50R offers reduced thrust specific fuel consumption, the result of over 70 design and material enhancements implemented by Honeywell.

The Gulfstream G100 is one of the most popular "Private Jets" and this "Private Aircraft" is ideal for longer lasting "Jet Charter" trips because it is so spacious inside.

With a maximum range of 3,000 nautical miles/5,556 kilometers at Mach 0.75, the G150 is one of the few aircraft in its class to reliably fly from California to Hawaii nonstop.

The G150 is just as effective reaching other parts of the world. London to Bahrain, Caracas to Buenos Aires and Moscow to Casablanca are nonstop flights. Even at normal cruise of Mach 0.80, the G150 has a range of 2,600 nm/4,815 km.

The G150’s impressive range assures the added advantage of reaching farther destinations at faster speeds, and does so while still providing one of the lowest direct operating costs in its class.

An appealing atmosphere is further created by Gulfstream’s 100 percent fresh-air circulation, which is resupplied in a G150 nearly every two minutes.

Floor plans with seating arrangements for six, seven or eight passengers provide the flexibility to configure the G150 cabin to best suit passenger needs.

Image While other manufacturers attempt to be revolutionary and develop aircraft from scratch to beat the competition by a wide margin, Cessna has taken the less risky evolutionary approach of using new permutations of proven technology.

This conservative approach has served them well; their track record for coming out “on time, on budget and as promised” with their newest designs has been spot on.

The Excel was one of those evolutionary aircraft, but I think even Cessna might be a bit surprised at how successful the Excel/XLS/XLS+ series has been.

The aircraft features two of the new Williams International FJ44-4A electronically controlled full authority digital engine control (FADEC) engines, which are capable of producing 16.11kN of thrust each; Cessna states that the CJ4 can climb to over 13,000m in under 28 minutes.

Avionics are provided through the aircraft's Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics suite with upgrades, including FMS (flight management system) v4.0 allowing for WAAS (wide-area augmentation system) capability and IFIS (integrated flight information system) v6.0 providing display improvements, temporary flight restrictions and winds aloft information.

The aircraft achieved FAA type certification in March 2010. The first Citation CJ4 featuring GreenTrak flight software was delivered to an undisclosed customer in April 2010. The second delivery was made to a private operator in UK in October 2010.

The XR upgrade also upped the gross weight by a thousand pounds, greatly increasing the type's utility.

Variations of the TFE731 engines have powered various jets for decades and have proved to be reliable and efficient. The 45XR's engines are equipped with a DEEC, or digital electronic engine control.

This governs N1 speed and limits fuel during acceleration and deceleration, making power management a simple task.

There is an engine synchronizer that keeps the big fans synced and passengers happy; it's a good thing, since engine noise is not easy to detect from the cockpit.

Citation Excel Private Aircraft has details like fold-out tables and sliding headrests make the interior comfortable. There are several different seating arrangements to choose from, including one option with a three-person divan. An external compartment provides 80 cubic feet of storage space, along with some additional space in an internal closet.

Very slightly shorter in cabin length at 5.28m, the Encore plus is usually configured for seven passengers but like the CJ4 is certified for eight, plus two crew members.

The baggage compartments for the CJ4 and Encore plus are 1.84m³ and 2.01m³ respectively.

Cessna is well known for paying exceptional attention to detail when they create their jets and the Citation Encore+ is certainly no exception.

Considered by many to be the finest jet in Cessna’s arsenal, the Encore+ is able to fly for significant distances and take off and land on small runways – all while carrying a good amount of cargo.

For these reasons, the Encore+ is often said to be a larger jet in a light jet’s body.

SPACE, COMFORT AND CLASS: Step into the expansive cabin of the CJ3+ where every detail is meticulously designed to meet your needs.

That, along with the rock-solid reputation of Cessna and the CJ family behind it, is the recipe for success in any market condition.

Cessna engineers realized that the new engine also provided an opportunity to improve the aerodynamic efficiency of the Citation 500 series, and the Citation Jet — later shortened to just CJ — was born.

The CJ had a cabin and cockpit very similar in size and shape to the original Citation 500, but it flew on an all-new wing that achieved a significant amount of laminar flow.

The CJ4 cabin is about two feet longer than the CJ3's, with most of the stretch being ahead of the cabin door.

It is certified for up to nine.

Because of its design modifications, the cabin is able to accommodate an aft, full-width lavatory and a forward galley.

When aircraft manufacturers were concerned with building anything that could fly adequately, Israel Aircraft Industries made strategic improvements in power and design that set the bar in the midsize category.

The Astra SP remains overall a great midsize business jet, offering range and speed in addition to ample passenger accommodations for its class.

The pressurized cabin can accommodate up to ten passengers with a flight crew of two. The interior arrangement can be altered to suit customer requirements.

The cabin is heated, ventilated and air-conditioned. More than 90 have been delivered.

This makes it an ideal choice for shorter excursions to centers with regional or smaller airports.

Outfitted with high tech avionics, the Westwind offers business jet pilots the tools to ensure you reach your destination safely, and in complete comfort.

The Westwind for Light Jet Chartering is yet another light jet that is excellent for corporate or leisure charter.

The range and speed of the Westwind I allows for many non-stop destinations and only one stop cross-country.

Jet Commander production amounted to 150 aircraft in the United States and Israel before IAI undertook a series of modifications to create the 1123 Westwind.

These included stretching the fuselage and increased maximum takeoff, maximum landing, and maximum zero-fuel weights, with the wing modified to incorporate double-slotted flaps and drooped leading edges and tip tanks.

There were also numerous airframe modifications, such as drooped leading edges on the wings, a dorsal fin, revised engine pylons and nacelles, and further increases in maximum takeoff, maximum landing, and maximum zero-fuel weights.

With improvements to a number of onboard systems incorporated as well, these changes resulted in the 1124 Westwind delivered from 1976.

In 1980, deliveries of the Model 1124A commenced; modifications included a new wing centre-section and the addition of winglets to the tips.
The promotion of any aircraft such as the PC-24 as being “multipurpose” — that is, say, hauling people during the day and then pulling the seats and hauling cargo at night, is just one advantage.

The aft partition can be moved to allow additional seats or a larger baggage compartment. This theoretically enables the PC-24 to be easily changed from various configurations and missions.

The Pilatus PC-24 is a big aircraft – and it surprised many people at EBACE that it is quite so big – but it is worth noting that this looks to include 90 cubic ft of internal baggage space.

Pilatus says that it will carry six to eight passengers in an executive layout or up to 10 passengers in a commuter layout. There will also be options to change it to allow the aircraft to be used for medical fleets.

The Citation V is extremely easy to fly and operate, cost effective, maintenance friendly, very safe, reliable, practical, affordable, and versatile.

The Citation V is able to operate from short runways at high altitudes and temperatures due to its straight wing design, a tradeoff for top end speed, at 495 miles per hour.

The Citation V is a turbofan powered, light jet. Most cabin layouts include seating for 7 to 8 passengers and a lavatory with a seat belt for an additional passenger if need…

Three interior layouts are available, and a typical choice is the forward divan opposite the galley, then a four-club configuration, with seats for up to eight passengers (including the belted lavatory).

Also offering eight seats is the four-club layout with two forward-facing seats aft and one seat up forward opposite the galley.

This layout provides less legroom in the club seating area, however. A six-seat interior puts the galley on the right side of the cabin and includes the spacious four-club seating area, one seat opposite the galley and forward of the cabin door, plus the lavatory seat.

Passenger seats were redesigned by Nextant engineers and are mechanically rebuilt and recovered. The two aft-facing seats in the club-seating area fold flat, and the divan can be extended outward to provide a larger sleeping surface.
