The Beechcraft Super King Air family is part of a line of twin-turboprop aircraft produced by Beechcraft.

The King Air line comprises a number of model series that fall into four families.

The Model 90 series, Model 100 series (these models comprising the King Air family), Model 200 series and Model 300 series.

The latter two models were originally marketed as the "Super King Air" family, but the "Super" was dropped in 1996.

The Super King Air family has been in continuous production since 1974, the longest production run of any civilian turboprop aircraft in its class.

It has outlasted all of its previous competitors and as of 2009 the only other aircraft in its class is the Piaggio Avanti.

The Beechcraft Model 300 King Air is a twin-engine turboprop corporate travel and utility aircraft with retractable landing gear.

It has a pressurized cabin produced by the US-American manufacturer Beech Aircraft Corporation, today Beechcraft a brand of Textron Aviation.

Raytheon King Air 300-series operators are among the most pragmatic people in the business aircraft community.

For them, the King Air 300 or 350 is the ultimate airborne passenger van.

It's reliable, it's versatile, and its capabilities are unmatched by any other type of aircraft.

All but a few 300-series operators had previously flown older King Air models. Some operators told us they briefly looked at light jets, particularly the Citation II and V/Ultra.

In the final analysis, though, turbofan aircraft couldn't carry as many people as far as the 300-series aircraft.

The King Air 300-series offered far superior fuel economy, according to respondents.

Its attractive wooden fixtures and porthole-style windows provide gorgeous views both inside and outside the aircraft.

The King Air 300 combines lavish appointments, practicality, fuel-efficiency and swiftness into a worthy package.

It has a range of nearly 1,500 miles and its aircraft cabin is the largest of its kind, comfortably seating 8 passengers.

The Beechcraft King Air 300 developed out of a need for a turboprop aircraft with greater engine power and maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) than its predecessor the Beechcraft King Air 200.

As a short-range turboprop aircraft, the Beechcraft King Air 300 cannot be beat.

The cabin of the turboprop engine powered King Air 300 is luxurious and roomy, with enough leather seats for seven passengers, retractable work tables.
