The Hawker business jet was conceived by the De Havilland Aircraft Company in the 1960s as the 125 business jet.


To date, more than 1,500 Hawkers have been produced and operate with customers worldwide.


The new aircraft version was called Hawker 600. The Hawker 700 was a Series 600 version powered by TFE731 turbofan engines introduced by the mid-1970s.
