The 3250 nm range of the new 2000DX delivers the same spacious, quiet interior as its longer range sibling, the 2000EX, but was developed for customers with less extensive city pair requirements.

The new Falcon 2000DX combines large cabin comfort and small cabin fuel economics with unsurpassed airport performance that are the hallmarks of the Dassault fleet.

Following the success of its DA-900 series three-engine intercontinental jets, Dassault announced the development of a wide-body jet of shorter range to replace its aging Falcon 20/200 line.

The Falcon 2000 is essentially a reduced size, twin-engine derivative of the Falcon 900 series.

The 2000DX is a shorter-range derivative of the 2000EX and will replace the original Falcon 2000 large-cabin aircraft.

The $25.5 million DX "will climb directly to 41,000ft in 17min and offer a low approach speed of 210km/h [112kt], which is ideal for short-field landings.

Likewise, the aircraft can leave London with four passengers, pick up four more in Paris and continue to Dubai without adding fuel.

Falcon 2000 is a reduced size, twin-engine derivative of the Falcon 900 series.

The 2000 has a wide fuselage of 900 series , however it is shortened by about 6 ft.

Its wings are the same as designed for Falcon 50 tri-jet, and has been used on the 900-series and now the 2000 with only minor modifications.

The Falcon 2000EX is certificated for as many as nineteen passengers, although the standard interior configuration is for eight passengers.

Like its Falcon 900-series cousins, the Falcon 2000EX has a cabin wide enough to seat three abreast with an aisle and is normally divided into forward and rear lounge areas with club seating in each area.

The Falcon 2000 family has been the best selling jet in its category for three straight years.

It's operating costs are estimated to be 5% less than that Falcon 2000 it replaces.

It was certified in 1995 and has since produced upgraded variations including the Falcon 2000DX, EX and the latest LX. The first upgrade, the FALCON 2000DX maintains the design and systems of the original 2000, but is a better performing Aircraft overall.

Falcon jets are optimized to perform according to the highest standards, leveraging the full advantages of Dassault technology.

For comparable missions and load, a Falcon is lighter than competitors’ aircraft and benefits from better aerodynamics.
